Hi, I’m ANNE

As a speaker, I bring locker room energy and lived experience to conversations about reinvention, resilience, and what it really means to thrive outside the game.

My work lives at the intersection of performance, purpose, and personal power—especially for those questioning their relationship with alcohol.

I’m a former athlete-turned-identity and sobriety coach, helping high performers navigate the transition from sport to self.

I was impressed with Anne Skriba moments after meeting her at Bemidji State University. We were both assistant women's basketball coaches for a year together.

While she was impressive addressing the team on various occasions in the gym and the locker room, I realized what a great communicator she was when we both were put into the situation of running the team.

The head coach was not offered a contract after his previous contract expired after the season ended. That left Anne and I in charge for the rest of the school year. We met with the players and explained the situation with each of us addressing the team.

I spoke first and then Anne addressed the team like I had not seen before. It was heartfelt, it was hopeful, it was connecting, and it was inspiring...It was leadership on display through her experiences and words.

With all of that being said, Anne's "Clean Play Coaching" is a positive for anyone!

Coaching alongside Anne for a year at the Division 2 level at Bemidji State University was eye opening. As a former player, she immediately could open up communication lines with the players and establish relationships almost immediately.

Her passion was evident on day 1, but her compassion is what helped her thrive as an assistant coach. Any subject was not off limits, and that's what makes Anne Skriba special and trusted.

When Anne spoke to my Entrepreneurs Academy students, I saw firsthand the impact she has as a speaker. As a former college coach and lifelong athlete, she commands the stage with confidence and authenticity. My students connected with her in the moment and later told me they still remembered her words, which is a true testament to the power of her message and presence.
