COACH ANNE

you’re allowed to want something different

That’s how my story started—and maybe yours, too.

I’m Anne Skriba—former college coach, lifelong athlete, and founder of Clean Play Coaching.

For years, performance was my purpose… until it wasn’t.

When I walked away from coaching, I lost more than a title. I lost the structure, identity, and routine that held me together. And like a lot of people, I used alcohol to fill the space.

Eventually, I got curious:

What would my life look like without it?

That question changed everything.

ABOUT ME

For most of my life, I knew exactly who I was—Athlete. Competitor. Coach. Leader.

But when I stepped away from coaching, I found myself in unfamiliar territory. The title was gone. The routine was gone. The sense of purpose I’d built my life around didn’t fit anymore.

And the coping strategies I’d leaned on—especially alcohol—stopped working the way they used to.

I didn’t have a rock-bottom moment. Just a quiet realization that I wanted something different. And a willingness to start asking better questions.

MY APPROACH

Through Clean Play Coaching, I help people in transition—people who are rethinking how they live, what they rely on, and who they’re becoming.

Some are questioning alcohol.
Some are grieving an old version of themselves.
Most are high-capacity, high-functioning, and deeply tired.

My job isn’t to tell you what to do. It’s to help you ask better questions, build better tools, and take the next step—even if you're not sure where it's leading yet.

What’s Next

If you’re in the middle of a shift—thinking differently about your routines, your identity, or your relationship with alcohol—and you want support that meets you where you are, I’d love to connect.

Start with a Scouting Report. It’s a free 30-minute call to talk through what’s coming up, get clear on what you’re looking for, and explore whether coaching is the right fit.

No pressure, just a real conversation about where you are, what’s shifting, and what kind of support could actually help.
